Coordinates, implements and evaluates student engagement campus wide programs such as Bronco Bash and Homecoming that uplift and support a positive campus life at WMU.Coordinates, implements, and evaluates the campus wide programs of Bronco Bash and Homecoming. This includes the hiring, training, firing, and supervision of 4-7 student employees.Supervises (2) Graduate Assistants who are responsible for assisting the program coordination administration of Registered Student Organizations.Provides direction, guidance, advocacy, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for approximately 80 students that are affiliated/connected to WMU's primary student event programming board, the Campus Activities Board (CAB) and its 15 member executive board.Maintains and properly administers fiscal responsibility for CAB's budget of nearly $300,000. Serves as the primary booking agent and contract reviewer for all events.Assists the Director of Student Engagement in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures that intend to provide support for all student organizations. Effectively executes and adjudicates judicial policies and procedures to maintain integrity/relevancy through appropriate means.Stays current on best practices and remains current on best trends for event programming by researching trends, conducting assessment, and attending professional conferences.

Advises and educates students and recent alumni about career assessment, exploration, decision making, negotiation, sensitive issues, professional development and job search strategies. Conducts weekly office hours and one-on-one appointments.Plans, develops and implements programs, seminars and events to guide students to explore and select a college major, implement a career development plan and perform a job search.Develops and teaches career development courses, in addition to career modules for required integration into curriculum.
