Over 30 years experience in Advertising and Design. Since finishing my time at the Melbourne College of Printing and Graphic Arts in 1984 I have had the opportunity to work with some fantastic people and organisations on everything from Retail Advertising and Marketing to International Corporate Branding. From Helicopter Video Shoots over Moreton Island for Television Advertising to the intricacies of Font Design, I truly love the industry I work in.I have always wanted to run my own studio and in 2000 I started Dark Blue, a boutique Graphic Design and Advertising Studio based in Brisbane. Dark Blue grew from strength to strength quickly with clients coming on board both locally and internationally. From humble beginnings with just myself to having 6 full time employees in just 3 years the studio was very successful. I was fortunate to work on a diverse range of creative projects. From being the Creative Director for a Sydney based organisation with a $300,000 budget for a National Campaign to complete Shopping Centre Marketing Campaigns. In 2004 I was approached by another agency wishing to purchase Dark Blue. After much consideration I sold the business and the freehold property in Fortitude Valley where Dark Blue operated from. I stayed with the purchasing Advertising Agency for 2 years continuing to look after my clients. There was a restriction of trade for a number of years after that. In 2009 I started a new Advertising and Graphic Design Studio - Ignition Creative.Ignition Creative is a Full Service Advertising and Creative Studio. We offer everything from Campaign Concept and Development to Media Placement. We have 3 copywriters and a Chief Editor primarily writing for the financial industry. We offer Photography, Video Production, and all forms of Graphic Design from Annual Reports to Press Advertising. Whether our clients require Retail or B2B, logo/branding or identity we ensure the final product positions and articulates their needs exactly.
