These included:• Developing a stand-alone inventory system for use by a hospital stores unit to allow them to perform audits of stock levels and use this to generate their purchasing request automatically via integration with TechnologyOne’s inventory system. TechnologyOne ACT was a newly opened office to support the existing Federal Government client base of their TechnologyOne Financials product. While here I primarily supported the TechnologyOne Financials product, both for the 38 clients within the ACT and the 800+ clients elsewhere in Australian and New Zealand. Responsibilities:• As per work in NSW, support TechnologyOne's ACT clientsKey Achievements:• Received the Outstanding Staff Achievement Award (Sep 2005). • Generated code to implement the custom auditing of modifications to user privileges within the application via T-SQL triggers for a client site. This was then used by TechnologyOne’s R&D as a template to replace all the existing application-based auditing code within the TechnologyOne Enterprise platform. The use of database level auditing provided better performance, required less developer maintenance and captured any data changes made outside the application platform. • Generated a web form system that allowed sites to customize the generation of purchases orders to match site specific requirements. (ASP, XML, ETL, Web Services) and implemented it a three separate sites.

Lifeline Australia had implemented a custom web-based CRM service called Justlook to hold community services referral information to be accessed remotely by their telephone counselors. Responsibilities:• Provided the on-going support and maintenance to the Justlook system. • Provided scoping and costing details on change requests raised by Lifeline to make alterations to the system.• Made the alterations once approved by Lifeline.• Providing knowledge transfer to Lifeline IT staff training on supporting the system.• Providing ongoing 2nd level support to the operation of the Justlook system.Technologies:The Justlook system was run on Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Sybase and was written in HTML, XML, Java, JSP, JavaScript and Perl CGI. Social Change Online was a web services company providing site design and implementation. They specialise in the provision of custom web applications using JavaScript and CGI scripting to government, unions and community organisations. Telstra Call Information Database (CID) SystemThe CID project was a call information data warehouse for Centrelink managed by Advantra for Telstra.The data warehouse was in an Oracle 8i database running on a HPUX system. Transigo was a large web development project run by Advantra for the Federal Government. Transigo was primarily a Web application with the backend running Java with some C code, running on a Solaris platform, utilizing Oracle Application servers and an Oracle database back-end. At its height it consisted of nine separate development teams (approx. 100 application coders) delivering application code to Advantra.Responsibilities:• Built the delivered application code into a single running system• Supported this system through internal testing onto eventual go-live.• Provided basic Solaris and Oracle administration in support of the developers and application testers.• Maintained the build process used to integrate the Java code into a single system.• Managed the CSV repository, Makefiles, Perl and Unix scripts that formed the build environment. • Compiling the Java and C code and debugging any errors that occurred during the build process.• Managing the application change requests from the programmers to trace what stage these changes were at within the various environments. • Provided initial assessment of application errors and assign them to the appropriate programming group for resolution. • Document installation and support processes for hand-over of the system to the production support staff.Key Achievements:• As the system grew, acted as the technical lead to a four person technical team.• Received Aspect’s Staff member of the Month for w0rk on this project.Technologies:Waterfall development process, Java, C, CSV Repository, Oracle 8, Solaris, Perl, Unix Scripts, Makefiles, Oracle Application Servers

Responsibilities:• Established and maintained a small LAN as the development environment for the DIS-P system• Assisted in the development of the DIS-P system• Perform data mining of this system.
