At Howard W. Blake, the Journalism department aims to recruit, instruct and inspire students to create works of art through the application of industry knowledge in order to produce top of the line award winning yearbook publications as well as an award winning news publication. Funding is mostly through sales of advertising and yearbooks, so each student must learn to work in a highly effective teamwork setting that is set up with industry standards in mind. Each student is taught the breadth of knowledge concerning Journalism as a subject and is also given the knowledge of how to get the experience needed to become a professional. Each student has the ability to earn up to four industry certifications in the field of visual production through Adobe: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and InDesign.

Worked in the coffeehouse with other employees while educating the employees how to work effectively as a team and show proper etiquette, hygiene and grooming and exhibit fantastic customer service. Boosted morale and devising plans in order to build a better relationship between the customer and employees along with building a better relationship with the management/owners and employees.

A school in the middle of seemingly nowhere, this is where a part of the heart of New York gets their education. This part of the world is mostly untouched by the new media and morals that is now common in many inner city and urban settings, and was a refreshing place to work. Kids are kids, this is true, but this school is run very well, and the student body is comprised of kids full of spirit. Was very happy to provide this district with my substituting services in the areas of English, Living skills, History, and Disciplinary duty.

An age-restricted community that offered self sustainable apartments within an aesthetically planned building aimed at giving the residents a maximum amount of independence while providing them with the care that they choose. Provided powerful customer service and office work at the front desk and helped with a myriad of functions to help keep the community running smoothly.

Was commanding officer in charge of a security team posted at one of the largest Jewish wineries in the world, Mogen David Wine a 50 million dollar a year business. Devised and implemented new policies and also authored the written form of the policies for the site. Discipline, training, payroll, scheduling, and mediation were all part of a normal week of work. Conducted interviews and investigations along with mediating between client/company and client/public. Completed the ACT supervisor training and was awarded with a supervisor of the quarter award. Successfuly maintained record numbers for the lowest turnover in the territory.This was achieved through building strong loyalty by demanding a strong work ethic on both ends of the command chain along with careful mediation between employees when needed.
