Past President of the New York State Building Officials Conference. (NYSBOC) Chair committees and represent both Town residents and membership, through leadership roles. Attend varied educational venues, State Congressional and Legislative activities and National Code Development Hearings to develop best practices and ensure continuity for the members and public at large. Currently serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Hudson Valley Code Enforcement Officials Conference. Provide leadership through successful marketing and administration of annual education venue for Building and Fire Code Officials to help them all maintain the required number of In-Service Training Hours as required by the State of New York. Service to the construction industry through private contractors, Architects and Engineers attending our Training programs. Large and small companies from around the state and country are brought in to teach the latest in Cutting Edge of Code Enforcement education. Newest means and methods and requirements are displayed for industry professionals to continue to measure up and move forward.In over 23 years of Building Code service I have additionally served through many committee and Officer positions in Mid Hudson Valley Chapter of the New York State Building Officials Conference, (NYSBOC) The New York State Chapter NYSBOC, The International Code Council (ICC) Region VI, Regional Chapter, North East Regional Coalition, (NERC) and the Eastern States Building Officials Federation. (ESBOF) Serve in government as a Deputy Building Inspector for the Town of Poughkeepsie, New York for 23 years.
