I have worked in all areas of the telecommunications industry for the majority of life. I have been involved in the evolution of voice communication technology from analog to digital. I was present onsite during Y2K providing support to a high-profile client in the event of catastrophic system failure when remaining connected was critical. I've trained current and new technicians on utilizing software tools, procedures, troubleshooting and configurations in a hospital environment with the least impact to patient care and telephone voice operations. As a contractor for one of the largest telecom manufactures I have commissioned entire central offices, to include the various stages of installation, electrical testing, full office software loading and commissioning in the US and overseas. I served as an attache to the United Nations to install, maintain and support satellite earth station, and scattered calling stations to provide telecom services for the US Military and United Nation soldiers. I worked with a team of technicians, engineers and planners to upgrade cell phone towers for a major carrier working jointly with the central offices and the network control centers removing transceivers from service without interruption to call processing or outages.
