With over 36 years of experience in the Computer/Communications/Security/Media/Software+Hardware Design Industry, I am a security and development expert with a passion for designing and delivering innovative communications and software/security solutions. I have a strong background in network and software engineering, as well as a military training as a radio operator. I enjoy working with diverse and collaborative teams that share a common vision and mission.As the Chief Security Officer at Monkey Speak Webware, formerly Virtual Business Communities, I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of security and technical operations for the company's web-based products and services. I started as a Senior System Administrator and Developer, and later moved to the CSO role, where I managed the network and software design, implementation, and maintenance for the head office and the remote locations. I also supported the development and testing of new features and functionalities, and ensured compliance with security standards and best practices. I leveraged my skills in radio communication, encryption, and cryptography to enhance the security and performance of the company's web platforms. I worked with Monkey Speak Webware until January 2011, when I decided to pursue other opportunities.
