I assist and transfer residents to activities. I also make room visits to bed ridden residents. Do assessments for new and incoming people. Created a "Men's Group" and go out weekly to local community events. Bring the resident's to their highest potental ever to maintain and excell their current levels of living. Giving them reasons to thrive and become part of their living facility and make their place a home as much as possible. Communication is maintained with all departments to work as a team to assist the residents as much as possible and to maintain independence based upon their current level of functioning.

I am currently volunteering in a Nursing Home and doing Meals for Me. I hope to land a job as an Activity Aide for senior citizens.
