Originally from Manly Beach Sydney Australia.My career as a whole, has spanned more than 40 years...Initially trained as a commercial cook that part of my career lasted ten years. Turning my passion into landscaping and studied an associate diploma in horticulture (parks and gardens strand)While studying I was very fortunate to work at Knox grammar school one of Sydney’s premier private schools. I was tasked with many things from preparing sports field to maintaining the vast gardens the property showcased. I also maintained my passion for fitness during this time. As an Instructor/Trainer, I was fortunate enough to travel the world, helping people meet their personal fitness goals, places like Mauritius, Maldives, Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, Beijing, Singapore, Thailand and Hong KongWorking in Sydney for THE PHYSICAL FACTORY Mosman, a very influential Fitness Centre in Australia, as a Fitness Manager and Coordinator, as well as, Australian Fitness Network, a prominent training institute, gave me some rewarding experiences which inspired me to help others in their pursuit for ongoing education, training and development, and which inevitably led me to Hong Kong.A passion for Teaching...In Hong Kong I was responsible for the Administering and lecturing of the FISAF Group Fitness Training Course with AASFP, the Asian Academy of Sport and Fitness Professionals, as well as working with some of the Largest Fitness Chains internationally as an Instructor Trainer and Manager.Working for 12 years, with Hong Kong University SPACE, on their Advanced Diploma in Fitness and Exercise Studies, which has helped expand mine and my students, knowledge and experience.Currently Business Development and Education Manager for Optimum Performance Studios Central, I continue to educate, train, and motivate instructors throughout the Asia-Pacific Region.My Philosophy...'I believe in the true essence of teaching, edification and a hands on approach, as it is only through the integration of the two, that mastering a skill is achievable'
