Maintain life safety and the security criteria of the Department of Energy (DOE) in order to protect DOE governmental property and personnel from terrorists and other unknown security threats in accordance with DOE physical security standards. Confers and coordinate with ranking officials within DOE, the Intel community, and contract personnel in order to meet programs goals and regional area responsibility. Inspect and monitor access control points within and around the DOE secure facilities using proprietary internal DOE security systems and techniques. Ensure protection of DOE classified material in order to safeguard national security. Maintain and organize security control logs used to document access of various U.S. Government personnel, Foreign Nationals and U.S. civilians requiring access to DOE facilities for official business.

Provided technical assistance to the Mental Retardation Developmental Disability Administration (MRDDA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) staff. Provided a full range of IT support services to staff, programs and functions of the serviced organizations, with special emphasis in the areas of systems analysis, network administration, IT Security and customer support. Planned, coordinated, analyzed, design, developed, tested, troubleshoots, and maintained a variety of local area networks (LANs), wide area network(s), multiple servers and automated systems, and a wide variety of hardware and software of the serviced organization. Served as the technical liaison between MRDDA and external agencies involving all automatic data processing (ADP) systems. Provided training for DHS and MRDDA staff to include scheduling and curriculum development. Implemented tracking forms for the MRDDA in order to support the development of a new records room and reprographics.
