I believe that my varied experience in a variety of industries has given me insight into how all industries intertwine. That a gifted manager is able to go from Industry to industry and with a small learning curve, be as effective in managing a wait staff in a restaurant, as they can a staff of technicians at an inter-connect. Time management is a constant across all industries and a managers ability to read the staff they are asked to manage, the managers ability to see the best in their staff and bring that best out in them transcends industries, in the end they are all aspects of managing people, and being able to bring the best out of your staff is most important. In the same way being a good technician, a true problem solver, allows a tried and true technician to go from one industry to another, and again with a small learning curve be just as effective. A technicians greatest purpose I believe at least it was for me is solving problems. Never wanting to be beaten by a problem, always knowing if I looked hard enough there was a solution. It is this desire I incorporated into my management style as well. Allowing me to understand my staff and help find ways to make them the best that they could be.
