I have over 35 years’ experience in various industries ranging from Hydrocarbon Processing Industry (upstream to downstream in all aspects of Oil Movements and refining to storage), Oil and Gas, Power, Water, Waste Water, Pulp and Paper, General Industry, Mining as well as Food and Beverage. Due to the combination of contract and permanent positions held in South Africa, Africa, Kazakhstan, South Asia and The Middle East, across these industries, I believe that this has contributed immensely to my ability to add value to your organisation, at management level, through comprehensive on site fault finding, customer support, root cause analysis techniques and the ability to translate this into both technical reports and offer effective solutions for the fault. Also, my ability to read and understand engineering drawings, Isometrics and schematics is a great strength.During my career I have held various roles in Leadership, Field Project Management, Team Lead field service in rehabilitation (Brown field) as well as new plant installations in oil and gas (Green field) and sales of new equipment right through to customer support to hand over. With my line of support, it is also necessary to have the experience and understanding of the refining process in oil and gas as well as well as the upstream and downstream process. from extraction, movement(transport), storage, De-hydration plants (coalesces), De-salters (transformer), chemical dosing plants (De-emulsification), RO, De-sulfonate, H2S extraction, NGL, as well as filtration plants to mention a few.Throughout my experience, I have found that the best way to improve the overall performance of any operation is through the continuous development of my team in order to ensure continuity with the process. The most important aspect of the development, as I have discovered, is understanding the culture of my team as this will affect the training approach utilised. As most of my positions have been on site, I have worked in harsh conditions often under extreme pressure, to great detail and unsupervised.
