I look after a team of 15 engineers and a team leader in all aspects of MPS and dealing with daily queries relating to all angles of the MPS world. I deal with all aspects of field related queries as well directly with customers and can advise on technical queries to an in depth degree.I liaise directly with our suppliers for all technical queries, and perform in-house testing on products to ensure suppliers products meet out criteria. I am also technically proficient to deal with high level 3rd line MPS issues through to conclusion.

I oversee day to day running of a MPS field team of 15 engineers including technical fault finding at 3rd line level on problematic machines through to conclusion, and liaising directly with manufacturers for all technical aspects regarding their products. I also provide hands on IT troubleshooting with all active directory based operating systems to server level. I am also a Fiery specialist including spectrophotometer calibrating and spot colour pantone matching. I am fortunate to be "a printer guy" but also have a vast IT knowledge of IT systems, so am able to fault find all aspects of printing from the users all the way to the printer itself on both IT and mechanical issues. I have a good relationship with my colleagues and engineers whom I manage due to my personable nature and find that I am ideally placed in the sector of leading the team along with dealing with all technical aspects of the job.

I excelled at customer relations and was completely adaptable to deal with all customers attitudes, and had a very good rapport with all customers.

1st line IT engineer for Microsoft products such as server 2003, exchange, Citrix ps, VMware. I was able to set up PPTP connection, VPN configurations, fibre and LAN routing using VLANS and routing tables, along with all aspects of server queries from UPS up to exchange database maintenance.
