On-Site Operations Manager
CurrentI am a Facilities Operation Manager, managing several sites in Maryland. Oversees all operational elements of the facility, from space planning to space use, ensuring that the physical structure is safe and operational.Routine walk through of facilities to inspect progress on all current projects and ensure that buildings are up to code. Serves as a point of contact in variety of capacities, as well as interfacing with tenants, vendors, and sub-contractors. Responds professionally to all work requests, questions and issues related to facilities operations that include internal/external stakeholders. Communicate with departments heads and employees to determine staffing needs and coordinate promotions. Provides work direction, orientation, training and work review/inspection for assigned personnel. Performs a variety of general maintenance or custodial activities. Provides direction and work from drawings, job layouts or verbal instructions. Ensures appropriate levels of supplies and materials are ordered and stocked appropriately. Provides required administrative support for Senior Managers and supporting business units. Reviews all work and assures all personnel perform work in accordance with established safety procedures. Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards. Participates in special projects as required.
