CurrentI just started a new program/ A Foundation call Building Up Our Children this year, after going around the 757/VA neighborhood, union mission, food banks, these kids have big dreams and I can remember when I was young I wanted to produce music, own my recording studio and be the best DJ in town, but that didn't happen( I'm still going for that goal now, I'm just older and doing it in a different way) and as I listen to these kids I start to think what if there was a program that can help kids reach their goal or try to help get to the right place for help and to make their dream come true, the best way we can , so I said to myself that I will put together a program call Building Up Our Children, where kids get to meet people in the field of what they want to do, to help them up, push for their goal, be there for them, even if it just to listen as they grow into what they want to be. There is a lot of kids that have dreams and not all get a chance, some are in a low-income area, they have to fight harder than other and problem they have in their self. So part of my plan is, as I do the fundraiser, I will put money on the side and make money to open up a recording, fashion, arts & cooking school right here in the 757/VA. I know it won't be easy, but with a lot of prayers, hope, working with other organization and the right people we can make this happen. Our Kids need us, too many of our kids get lost in this world and I myself want to help a childhood dream come true like they say, each one teaches one and we can make a difference.
