I am a Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Specialist with nineteen years’ experience in various fields of the industry that spread from Construction (Civil/ Engineering), Ferrous Metal Smelters, Chemical Industry, Synthesis for Oil and Gas Industry and Mining (Iron Ore/Silica/Coal/Anthracite/Diamond mining).I started my career within an Anglo American plc Group, focusing mainly within the ferrous metal manufacturing and production industry in South Africa for nine years. Within four years I worked myself up to Senior SHEQ Practitioner and Company Auditor being finally promoted to Assistant SHEQ Manager for the company. With my desire to succeed, I entered into a joint venture, being responsible for SHECQ within the consulting and broking sector nationally for an international company.After some time, I was head hunted by a mining corporate group to be their SHECQ Practitioner for implementation, standardisation and managing of an intergraded management system.With the strong skill set offered and accomplished, I was quickly approached to join another as a Group SHECQ Manager. This business covering from geological/exploration drilling, blasting, opencast mining, civil construction to engineering within South African and across borders
