I have spent the better part of my life in the electrical industry. Starting with my introduction to first year I quickly found interest in commercial and then Industrial installations. Finding success within the industry encouraged me in 2006 to seek a different path allowing me the opportunity to be based closer to my home and young family. Working for a year for a local builder as a project manager for construction of new homes I quickly found that I missed wiring and my trade. I went back to school, got my master electrician certification and opened my own business in residential electrical installations. I have been running that company since 2007 to present. At this time I am looking to broaden my horizons once again and embrace new opportunities. I had worked overseas in Cuba and enjoyed that environment. Looking for opportunity to once again jump back into working for someone else and challenging myself in new areas or even in a different type of role in the electrical industry is important to me and my family. Wanting a more consistent job with regular hours is an attractive component of that change. I have enjoyed running my company but have found myself wanting to step back into a role where I can discover and hone new (and existing) skills and take my natural leadership, years of experience into a company where it would be an asset to them.
