Wayne Fox serves as a Principal in the Operations Risk Management practice for dss+ in North America. In this role, he leads complex client transformations across global and regional client operations combining business process improvement and lean strategies, project execution management, and resource optimization to drive financial results and outcomes.Known for his personal commitment, drive, and dedication, Wayne has led construction and commissioning of a $200 million manufacturing facility in Shanghai, China; led and delivered energy efficiency initiatives producing 40% reduction in energy usage and $8 million reduction in operational costs; and designed and led safety culture initiatives resulting in 50% reduction in recordable safety incidents and 100% reduction in lost time injuries, delivering $500,000 savings in the first year.With over 30 years of experience, Wayne has completed over 50 operational risk management initiatives and programs for clients in manufacturing, energy, and utility industries delivering increased efficiency, accelerated growth, and improved the culture of each organization. Prior to joining dss+ in 2011, Wayne held several senior management positions in Engineering, Operations and Maintenance with General Motors spanning a 20-plus year career.He holds a M.S. in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University, and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute.
