Since 2010 I have been employed by the Qantas Catering Group as a Project and Facility Supervisor. In this role I was responsible for coordinating and supervising all activities related to the safe and efficient operations of the Maintenance Department in Q Catering Perth. The duties of my role include, but were not limited to, developing and implementing business improvement strategies in the areas of contractor management, plant and facility utilization, and process improvement.Coordination of projects in excess of 2m providing operational support to Senior Management, Line Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) as required.

Qantas Airways

For a period of 5 years I worked as Equipment Manager for Q Catering. In that role I was responsible for achievement of safety, operational and financial performance, in strip wash and equipment operations.

For a period of 10 years I worked as a Duty Manager for Q Catering. In this role I was responsible for the management of all day to day operational activities on a shift basis. This included the management of labour to budget, staff performance, OSH site security and service recovery. This was the Senior Management position within the business after normal business hours.
