The Mandela Musical was conceived and written by two South African, Greg Borowsky and Shaun Borowsky. It will launch at the New Vic Theatre in London from November (2022) to February (2023), as part of the theatre's Revolution themed season. The New Vic is a developmental theatre, and a necessary step to take the Mandela production on to the West End and Broadway. The worldwide premiere will be on 5 December 2022. I am a director and start up investor in this business. Illuminate Lights offers energy efficient lighting solutions to the commercial and industrial market in South Africa and the African continent. We have developed a unique "Value Proposition" methodology for calculating the benefits of replacing conventional lights with energy efficient LED lighting products. The savings are very significant, but few in the industry have the expertise to measure and deliver the benefits available.We decided to split the business into two companies, with Illuminate Lights concentrating on product supply and installation, and created a second company, Smith Tait, focussing on lighting design.

This product range is distributed through retailers including Spar, Dischem and Clicks. These products are marketed through a new company called Chocwell, and manufactured by Coti. This product range is targeted at the South African market, with growing interest in other African markets, and certain overseas markets including the USA, Australia and the UK.
