Responsibilities include directing and coordinates a wide variety of capital improvement projects, including of all type of residential, commercial and industrial structures, including but not limited to roads, bridges, wastewater treatment plants, water towers, and municipal building. Phases of such projects typically include conceptual design, project scope, engineering design, environmental assessment and documentation, right-of-way negotiation and acquisition, construction and project closeout and warranty work. Also serve as a Cad Specialist that performs a dual role with the Project Manager. This position requires highly technical work in supporting of engineering, environmental development and GIS functions for the public works programs and capital improvement projects. Work involves applying advance scientific and technical knowledge to projects and assignments. Office work involves data maintenance, analysis or computations aided by computers, technical research and review and involve public contact. Field work includes on-site information gathering, monitoring and inspection of projects or existing public facilities and interaction with private contractors and the public. Providing in-house computer aided drafting and design for all departments and internal projects. Also utilizes specialized equipment for survey-grade project layout and design. This position required assign part time project manager duties for capital improvement projects and private development projects. These functions are exercise under the general supervision of the Public Works/ Engineer Director.

Served as a project senior CADD designer, and project field inspector on numerous civil engineering projects in Missouri. Projects represent most levels of the public sector including state, county and municipal governments. Field inspection responsibilities include over-seeing the review progress schedule, schedule of shop drawings and schedule of values prepared by the contractor and consulting with the owner for acceptability. Inspection services include review of work, rejection of defective work, inspections and testing.

Prepared civil engineering drawings and specifications for Anderson Engineering. Most projects include new site development.
