Member of the pre-opening team responsible for establishing the Public Area Department. Identified and established all equipment, chemicals and employees for the property. Worked closely with the construction group helping to identify products used in the bathroom areas as well as choosing fixtures that saved the company money. Established schedules, cleaning frequencies, interviewed and hired the managerial staff as well as the line employees. Developed standards and policies, training programs and a departmental manual. Monitors all cleaning and safety of the public areas as well as the morale of the employees. Responsible for the departmental budget as well as the FTE level of the Public Area Department.
