Key Duties and Responsibilities• Administration and maintenance of the Taylor and Francis TM1 Server.• Liaison with finance to generate requirements for enhancements and new project work.Project Work• Designed, created and implemented a hot promote app to enable the migration of TM1 Objects between servers without the need to drop the server saving downtime on the server (Python Flask back-end with a web-based app on top). This is used across all the divisions of Informa.• Implementation of new reporting methodology for TM1 reports that significantly reduced maintenance requirements.• Implementation of the secure gateway for all the Informa divisions, to enable secure transfer of data for load into the cloud based TM1 instance.• Rebuild of entire Taylor and Francis TM1 model, including cube, rule and TI optimisation along with a new suite of TM1 reports, based on new finance requirements.• Implementation of Cognos command centre to automate tasks (ie move files to designated folders when processes been run).• Built and designed a KPI Metric model including allocation logic designed in conjunction with the Finance Reporting

FAP takes relational Cognos Controller data, transforms it into multidimensional data format to enable it to be published into a TM1 cube. The base cube is then enhanced in TM1 to provide the reporting of Consolidation data that meets the client’s needs.
