As a passionate and meticulous Engineer, I proudly work alongside fabrication and manufacturing personnel to verify exceptional product quality. I am comfortable taking projects from initial conception through holistic design phases and final production, creating products geared toward both customer satisfaction and internal profit growth, and strictly adhering to customer budgets and internal engineering policies.For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about the art of Engineering. I have always taken a keen interest in looking at every possible mechanical component I see, meticulously inspecting and observing functionality to investigate the designers' work and areas of improvement. 20+ years ago, the desire to enhance mechanical products for peak efficiency, alongside a steadfast desire to improve product quality, led me to the career of my dreams. Every day at W.S. Darley, I get the ability to optimize technological development, quality, fixture/equipment design, finite element analysis, and customer relations to enhance multi-national product lines. I have the esteemed opportunity to utilize my mechanical design knowledge, skills, and ability to create comprehensive design work alongside project owners and provide continuous professional support throughout the entire equipment manufacturing process. Furthermore, I serve as a primary liaison and trusted advisor, responsible for all coordination and communication activities between the design team, customer, and project stakeholders in the hopes of streamlining highly matrixed processes. I thrive in environments where I can analyze field feedback, cost reduction items, and factory line issues to identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact projects. I work with dealer technical assistance centers to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues and liaise directly with suppliers to improve the reliability of their systems, determine the root cause of failures, and identify cost reduction opportunities.
