Facilities Information Technology Division (Fitd)

Holds the Master Electricians license with the State of Colorado Division of Regulatory Agency, Accountable for all electrical infrastructure installations and maintenance operations for 1.2MM square feet of Larimer County owned and leased properties.Provides support to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Emergency Services through the maintenance and repair of emergency power generation systems for the 911 emergency call center.Maintains and ensures the proper operations of Fleet Services fueling stations.Maintenance and repair of Backup GeneratorsMaintenance and repair of Solar Arrays at the County Courthouse Office, the Solid Waste Administration building, and radio tower solar battery chargers. Managed the Global Facilities, EH&S staff and outsourced facilities contractors. Superivised the design, planning, construction, installation, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facility infrastructures. Monitored the activities of the facility department to ensure compliance with the company’s goals, objectives and government regulations.

Construction management of new buildings and remodeling of existing facilities. Duties included creating budgets, defining internal requirements necessary for a well functioning manufacturing facility upon completion. New construction project budgets were six and eight million dollars and remodel budgets ranging from fifty thousand to 1.5 million dollars.

Responsible for all facility functions. Coordination of janitorial, grounds, safety training, fire drills, safety inspections, and interdepartmental projects. Purchasing and installing electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures, industrial air compressors, nitrogen systems. Maintenance of all existing equipment and production machinery, phone systems and network wiring.
