As A Person: I am a very lucky and proud family man, when I'm not working I can often be found enjoying pleasure trips with my children around Plymouth Sound. We are very fortunate to have beautiful beaches around our coastline in Plymouth and the South West, so I enjoy taking full advantage of them.We love to fish too, we leave the Tamar (in fact you can see some of our SWSS work there as we resurfaced the Tamar Crossing) and head out for wreck and reef fishing which can be as much as 20 miles off shore.I also like to keep myself fit too, I am passionate about making time for the gym to stay as fit and healthy as possible.As The Director Of South West Surfacing Specialists: I often get told I am a very hands on director. I think this is due to my lengthy background in the industry which dates as far back as 1998 when I was Chargehand for Cornwall County Council (Cormac).I quickly found that my real passion lay in the hands on work, but my focus then slightly shifted. Unfortunately I noticed that the driveway industry had a bit of a bad reputation. This motivated me to create my own company in 2010 (South West Surfacing Specialists). I had a clear vision of what I wanted to achieve, one of the main aims being to put trust back into the industry and any customers who wanted a new driveway.These are values that my company work towards everyday. Whether we are installing at a new care home, like The Lodge in Exeter, at a church like the Church Of St Thomas A Becket in Okehampton, or transforming the home of our lovely customers in the South West, we strive for 100% customer satisfaction.I am always keen to move the industry forward, in the last two years I created an online forum (TalkResin.com). This is a community of industry experts, sharing working practices, tips and stories to improve our processes for the benefit of customers nationwide.

 At SWSS our highly skilled team have over 30 years experience in groundworks, tarmacadam and road works. I personally have been installing resin for over 12 years and I am proud to see our attention to detail highlighted regularly in comments and reviews on our installs on Checkatrade, Google, Facebook etc.We also have the environment in the forefront of our mind, our full Resin Bound install system is S.U.D.S complaint and recognised by the environmental agency.Our very own Recycle Pave surface combines a special blend of recycled tyres and is excellent for foot paths, eg churches, wedding venues, schools, just like Southmead Primary School which we recently surfaced in Braunton.
