Rejoining Land Department of CNOOC to work on providing mapping needs and expertise relative to Land Information system. Working on overcoming a Quorum Land System software that has not been updated since its deployment and which certain functionality was not activated as a result. Have identified major issues and work a-rounds to obtain updated attributes on polygons for critical business mapping needs and analysis.

Been an interesting ride. Found in the first month that QUORUM software has not been synchronized with the textual side since the polygons were linked. Quote a lot has happened in the past 2 years for many of the polygons so you can imagine attributes were mapping completely in error for Active v Inactivel and Expiration dates are a nightmare. Developed a model script to take care of this on a regular basis, but it only provides a band aid to one Major Software issue. Maintain Well Data for Rockies area. Polygon Capture fills in the rest of the time.

Evaluates sources and quality of commercial landgrid and competitor lease/ownership data for inclusion in the LIS/GIS databases.
