Wayne Heedes - ManagerMr Wayne Heedes comes from a mechanical background and has in excess of 35 years experience in the operations and management of minerals processing plants.Mr Heedes commenced with Saracen Gold Mines in March 2009 to oversee and manage the Carosue Dam treatment plant refurbishment, a task that was completed below budget and ahead of schedule.Mr Heedes previously held senior executive positions in variety of roles with a number of high profile mining companies. Upon successful commissioning of the processing facility in 2010, Mr Heedes assumed the role of Mill Manager. After Saracen's acquisition in 2014 of the Thunderbox gold project Wayne assumed the managers role and is actively worked to bringing the plant into production. Thunderbox Gold mine started commissioning and operations as of the 1st February 2016 and after a successful 16 week treatment plant refurbishment which was delivered ahead of schedule and on budget. Wayne returned to central operations in the Perth office to oversee Saracens capital projects over the various sites . projects include the construction of the CDO aerodrome and paste plant construction that is now commissioned and supplying paste to the Karrari under ground and Whirling Dervish operations at Carosue Dam. Carosue Dam added an additional 4.5MW ball mill in 2020 that lifted production from current nameplate 2.4Mtpa to 4Mtpa. After the successful commissioning of the Karrari paste plant at CDO operations the paste plant was replicated at NSR Thunderbox operations to supply paste for the underground operations. Current projects completed are the addition of an 18MW SAG mill to NSR Thunderbox operations allowing production to increase from current throughputs 2.4Mtpa to 6Mtpa+
