I spent a majority of my journalistic career employed by national news wire AAP during which time I covered most major sports, I have reported extensively on rugby league (NRL), rugby union, cricket (Shield & Test matches), golf (major Australian events & President's Cup), tennis, basketball (Two Olympic Games, Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000 and NBL for 20 years) and soccer (A-League & Socceroos) along the way building a respected profile within the Australian sporting community. I've reported on Commonwealth and Olympic Games, Kangaroo Tours, numerous grand finals and some 90-odd State of Origins since 1980.
