Achieved favourable commercial agreements with fuel suppliers (rate), airlines (market share, rate) and Pilbara camp providers (min usage and flexible rates).- Coached and counselled underperforming Melbourne based finance team members. Further reviewed and evaluated finance staff capabilities and location of team relative to main operations. Implemented new finance structure based in Perth which involved recruiting three new finance team members. This delivered improved business partnering support with closer alignment to the main WA operations.- Examined, assessed, and evaluated the Mackay administration structure that supported accounts receivable and payable in that region through numerous on-site visits and engagement with team members and other key stakeholders. Relocated the Mackay based roles to Melbourne which created efficiencies and reduced FTEs by 4.
