Firefly Education Consortium is a consortium of professionals reaching out to non profit schools who are serving disadvantaged children in Northeast Florida. Firefly is a 501c nonprofit organization currently working primarily through grants where I handle the purchase, setup, configuration and maintenance of client server environments for non profit schools. These are children who for the most part don't have the resources or exposure to technology in their home environment and will fall further behind without assistance.

Providing desktop and network support as an independent contractor for small businesses and SOHO clients. Support includes implementation of workgroup and client server environments, desktop support, wireless configuration and implementation, computer design and building as well as consultation regarding a variety of technical software and equipment purchasing.

Supporting Baptist's Primary Care division during the upgrade of proprietary software used by 60+ locations throughout Northeast Florida in addition to other technical support requirements. Working with an excellent group of techs, both Baptist employees and Randstad contractors, who are versatile in their knowledge and responsibilities and professional in their demeanor.

Jacksonville, Florida Area

Lead Technician-JPMChase Windows 7 Migration-11/2012 – 9/27/2013A contract position to support the tech refresh and scripted deployment of Windows 7 on desktops, laptops and thin clients throughout 5 Chase locations in Jacksonville. As a lead technician I was responsible for training and deploying other technicians and maintaining constant contact with techs to assist in troubleshooting and progress. Deployment included the execution of scripts, asset tracking of legacy equipment and new equipment, workstation decommissions and communicating with the client and end users. As the SPOC constant contact with the corporate bridge was maintained regarding deployment updates, final deployment numbers for the evenings and scheduling of Day 1 activities which included creating manifests for legal holds of HDDs that were replaced. This position required meticulous attention to detail to keep up with various process changes and administrative tasks. Position eliminated when the contract expired 9/27/2013.

Jacksonville, Florida

Consulted with individuals going through the Florida Worksource WIA training/grant program. I advised unemployed individuals and coordinated training with New Horizons Computer Learning Center of Jacksonville.

Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

Desktop, network and a broad range of technical support for approx. 30 sites nationwide with nearly 300 users. In addition to routine IT work, I provided direct support and special assignments for HR, the CIO and the owner. (I still provide periodic consultant support to Meridian as and independent contractor.)Also worked under HR as the Corporate Safety Director handling drug testing and Safety Training, Was instrumental in the development and implementation of Meridian's LMS online safety training website including creating curriculum and monitoring employee progress.(I still provide periodic consultant support to Meridian as and independant contractor.)

Responsible for building a customer base for Efficinet, a start-up network solutions provider.

Provided business development and training consulting for Logical Security, an online IT security training company.

Instrumental in client growth via sales and training to individuals and businesses using early and transitional Microsoft platforms. Training included certification for all three of these technical training vendors.
