I was responsible for the recruitment and training of applicators for Sto systems within my area as well as building and maintaining partnerships with these applicators by providing projects to tender for, continual product training on new and existing products and site support to ensure high quality workmanship is maintained.

My position was part of an extremely busy Marketing Department reporting directly to the Commercial Marketing Manager. My main responsibilities included running the Sheffield Insulations Acoustic Centre. This was a new brand created to specifically target house builders and take advantage of the increase in the acoustic insulation market, targeting non account holding house builders and run from the Head Office in Sheffield. The Acoustic Centre is a nationwide operation using the branch network round the country for logistics. My responsibilities included product specification, advising on regulation compliance, and the pricing and sale of acoustic products.. This required managing the project from the outset with a pro-active marketing campaign, right up to delivery of product on site. This was achieved by developing a strong business relationship with the client via phone call, site visits and face to face meetings. I was also heavily involved in the technical and commercial side of new product development as well as carrying out training on acoustic products, building regulations and acoustic theory to other members of the team. I was the company’s point of contact for information and guidance on building regulation compliance where steel frame structures were being used.
