• Ensure the supply chain operates so that the environment health & safety, quality, cost, production, customer & stakeholder relations, continuous improvement, people development and business objectives are achieved• Extensive experience rostering staff (up to 20 employees), including overseeing administrative duties, dispatch and receivable• Ensure coordination and management of paperwork/invoicing, including quality control on product/s received• Organise up to 30 sub-contractor… Show more • Ensure the supply chain operates so that the environment health & safety, quality, cost, production, customer & stakeholder relations, continuous improvement, people development and business objectives are achieved• Extensive experience rostering staff (up to 20 employees), including overseeing administrative duties, dispatch and receivable• Ensure coordination and management of paperwork/invoicing, including quality control on product/s received• Organise up to 30 sub-contractor drivers including route management, ensuring safety and service comes first • Demonstrated experience in the procurement of vehicles and machinery, ensuring purchases are made within company budget• Management and maintenance of a fleet of vans, trucks and company vehicles • Accountable hands-on leader with the ability to manage, train and mentor new and existing employees, including high level conflict resolution skills • Confident in performing HR functions in a consultative manner including, but not limited to recruitment and selection, team member inductions, performance reviews, evaluation and disciplinary actions • Set KPIs for sales targets and production turnovers to be achieved within set strict timeframes• Proficient in operating plant equipment/vehicles including front end loaders and backhoes; trucks; and forklifts ensuring a comprehensive awareness of height and weight restrictions• Responsible for the organisation of loads, meticulously planning route deliveries minimising time wastage and improving workplace efficiencies• Demonstrated experience working on production lines • Key focus is to drive and deliver service on time and in accordance to customer expectations, ensuring customer levels are not only met but exceeded• Ability to pick and pack various types of goods and products into crates, cardboard boxes, pallets and warehouse trolleys Show less
