Allied Lube Inc / Crust USA• Provide Finance, Accounting and Operational support over multiple entitiesEner-Core, Inc (May/2013 -Nov/2013)• Develop historical financials as the Company has split from another entity.• Assist with preparation for a Reverse Merger, including financial and operational assistance.• Assist with the preparation of the Super 8-K

• Internal lead for potential IPO filing, which included participation in bank selection, S-1 document drafting, and vendor negotiations.• Worked on multiple private equity rounds, totaling $900+MM raised. Developed PPM’s, presented to potential investors, and managed closing process and ongoing Investor Relations.• Lead the application and draw process to access the $530MM loan with Department of Energy. This included the Review by outside auditors, due diligence review, draw requests, operational data, and legal document review.• Provide on-going investor reporting, updates as needed.• Provide finance support to the Executive Team as needed.

Finance:• Responsible for financial analysis, analytical review of all Company operations and developing key performance indicators across the Company. Directed strategic initiatives across the Company to reduce costs, improve efficiencies and streamline business processes, including renegotiating rates with vendors and reducing shipping expense charges by approximately 15%.Operations:• Reviewed the entire operational flow of the Company, with responsibility for designing and implementing process changes using technology, personnel and process improvements. Key projects included improving the billing process, inventory costing and product returns process. Drove the billing cycle down to minutes compared to days, and drove the return inventory down by over 50%.

Accounting:• Oversaw and directed the Accounting and Payroll Departments. Responsible for the timely and accurate presentation of the financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Set Accounting and Finance policies to meet the company’s operating objectives.Finance:• Responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting to the Executive Team.•Negotiated with key vendors to reduce costs and established favorable costing for the Company

Consulting for 99 Cents Only, deep discount retailer with over $1B in sales. Key Projects Include:• Sarbanes-Oxley compliance – responsible for documenting, developing and implementing key controls based on established objectives for Revenue, Human Resources, and Payroll. Acted as Project Manager for the Visa Cisp compliance review.• Interim Controller – responsible for managing the accounting staff. Performed analysis and implemented procedures to help the Company meet professional standards, including Accounts Receivable review, clean-up and collections, identifying unbilled vendors and collecting, drafting travel & entertainment policies, and managing State audits of certain activities.• Manage the Sales Audit team – understand the process of cash traveling from the POS machines to the bank and work with store operations to identify and clean-up potential issues. Project manager for the implementation of a software solution to automate the audit process.
