Wayne has 30 years’ experience in Real Estate and almost this entire time has dedicated it to the hotel and tourism industry.Wayne started his Real Estate career at Bayleys in 1991 selling and leasing industrial property but quickly turned his focus to the hotel sector.In 2002 Wayne co-founded Resort Brokers, a specialist brokerage company with a total focus in the sale of Hotels Tourism & Leisure.  Resort Brokers became the authority in the industry and remained market leaders in New Zealand for the next 18 years. Wayne and the Resort Brokers team now enjoy an even larger presence in the hotel tourism & leisure industry with market leaders Bayleys having acquired Resort Brokers in 2020 making Bayleys the largest full service real estate company in New Zealand.  Wayne has a substantial database of hotel owners and investors and leverages off the Bayleys Knight Frank relationship with their international hotel team.  This delivers so much more opportunity but most importantly gives clients another choice in the sale of their hotel assets and provides a global representation.  Wayne is actively involved in selling nationally and has a comprehensive understanding of current market trends and nuances in the tourism industry.
