Responsible for developing, testing and maintaining expected reimbursement rules to accurately post the expected reimbursement and contractual within the AR/Revenue Cycle system (Epic, PIC). This position directly impacts financial statements as these calculations are relied upon to estimate Net AR and is a focus of the financial audit

Directs and manages all CMG shared service functions for advertising, circulation, direct mail and commercial print customer payments. Develops and identifies work standards and metrics to track and manage transactional processing performance to achieve SLA’s. Promotes and supports continuous improvement focused on optimizing resources, internal and external customer service and efficient workflow processes. Ensures that all types of payments are batched, balanced, posted and accounted for and systems are balanced to funds received. Ensures that all month end related responsibilities (balancing, journal entries, and reporting) are completed accurately and timely. Collaborates with other departments (Credit, Billing) to resolve payment issues and to ensure that customer accounts are accurately stated to facilitate an optimal collection environment. Collaborates with IT by identifying system errors, capturing issues requiring resolution, and maintaining and enhancing the accounts receivable systems as required for optimal performance. Maintains cash application policies and procedures to ensure changing business requirements are met. Participates in internal and external audits as required. Reviews / audits / tracks performance of outside vendors, such as lockbox processors, utilized in customer payment shared services. Serves as liaison between vendors and functional groups to ensure implementation of new services offered is successful.
