A short list of accomplishments includes:• Developed ETL processes to handle the migration of data to and from clients.• Upgraded network infrastructure to improve internal networks and increasing wide area network speed by 400% with a 50% reduction in cost.• Developed algorithm that was used to minimize the amount of data the customer needed to provide and reduced process time from weeks to minutes. • Created a customized printing system with template management to provide consistent and quality documents and engraving. This system allowed printing, that was performed in five different departments, down to one central group.• Created a shopping program for purchasing to take advantage of online sales to get lower prices for items. • Developed a process scheduling system to make sure customers' needs were consistently being met and on schedule.• Combined systems and ecommerce websites to allow customers to have a single point to manage and review all of their programs in one place.

Preformed multiple projects and for both small and large organizations. Several of projects where to evaluate, develop project plans to migrate to new technologies, do vendor negotiations, and/or to move into new facilities. Examples include the roll out of the first 50 Bloom Stores for Food Lion, Evaluating and upgrading 450 servers for First Union, migrating Billy Graham technology and moving them from Minnesota to North Carolina. Project Managing the technology part of migrating Core States and FFB banks into First Union after mergers. Developing a plan for Techtrain to build initial training center and to roll out other centers across the US. Other projects including evaluating, rewriting business plans, and working to develop technology for companies. An example of this was the Elevator Channel. The initial business plan called for a $20,000 investment per unit to go into an elevator cab that wasn’t practical. After reviewing, I was able to reduce their unit cost to $3000 and developed new technology that they patented to make it possible to count the number of people that was riding in the cab.

Areas of responsibility included planning, operation for all networking services, voice & data technologies.Selected project highlights:• Complete business contingency plans with active 3 month testing for warm and hot sites to recover all information technology operations. This was tested by Hurricane Fran that shutdown 13 offices and we were able to reroute all voice and data traffic within minutes to other locations.• Upgraded all primary office phone key systems to PBX for corporate integration and cost efficiencies• Developed Regional Call Centers for Customer Support• Advanced the LAN/WAN install base from 5 locations to include all 33 locations• Upgraded 1950’s radio system to 900 Mhz for all dispatch service personnel (400) • Awarded BellSouth’s Award for Innovation in Technology for Networks in 1995• Assisted on GIS development team that won the AM/FM/GIS International Fast Tracker Award
