We use the model based development workflow to create control algorithms for tractor subsystems. Our process involves developing requirements from project specifications, then creating MATLAB/Simulink models and supporting test framework based on these requirements, and finally converting these models into C code for deployment onto controllers/SoCs.I led the development for functionality controlling variable damping in the tractor's axle suspension.

We developed emulators for proprietary flight computers. This involved understanding/emulating the computer architecture of various flight computers and running/verifying flight control algorithms on our emulators. Emulators and supporting frameworks were mostly written in C, C++, and Python.

Developed MATLAB/Simulink simulations of control algorithms and implemented control algorithms onto microcontrollers using Python/ROS to support students in learning control theory.

Developed algorithms that modified the RTL synthesis process to implement TMR (triple modular redundancy) on FPGA designs. This is a method that improves radiation resistance of digital circuits by duplicating certain memory components.
