I have been working in the construction industry for RPS (formerly Burksgreen), a busy multi-disciplinary engineering and architectural practice for the past 19 years, specialising in the provision of engineering design for a variety of sectors including education, offices, industrial, distribution and warehousing. I am considered a committed, reliable and experienced senior co-ordinator/technician/drainage designer. During my career I have worked alongside many varying key clients such as Odeon Cinema, Southend Airport, Sainsburys, Prologis, Sports Direct and the Co-op, with projects ranging in build value from £10k to £40m+. I have developed a close working relationship with these clients to gain an understanding of their operational requirements, thus enablin me to provide innovative, cost effective solutions consistently working to tight timescales and budget constraints whilst still delivering high quality designs.I am responsible for all technical detailing and co-ordination of engineering elements on a wide variety of projects, whether working alone or managing a small team, dependant upon the project value and programme.My experience in various areas of engineering design include drainage, earthworks balancing/levels and I have the necessary skills and experience to deliver quality structural reinforced concrete detailing. I am fully conversant with numerous associated software packages, particularly AutoCAD, MicroDrainage Windes and also have good design experience with Revit and 3D Civils.
