I have been independently assessed for knowledge and competence in the subject of First Aid and successfully delivered a minimum of 2 first aid teaching presentations which included demonstrations and theoretical knowledge based on subjects taken from the 3 Day First Aid at Work Course. I have also demonstrated competency in first aid assessment, evaluating first aid candidates and completing peer evaluations while observing other candidates' presentations. Prior to my course, I completed a 9 hour video course which included adult, child, infant and AED skills provided by ProTrainings. As a ProTrainings instructor, I will be will be completing an annual skill evaluation with another instructor in addition to ensuring continuing professional development using ProTrainings video based e-learning, ProTrainings instructor updates and attending webinars and training events provided by ProTrainings. I have also completed training in the regulated system, centre management, recording learning outcomes, assessment criteria and the internal/external verification process. By using the ProTrainings system, I will be able to manage and regulate my learners, enabling me to pass any verification process.
