Identified manufacturing process improvement opportunities for multiple large manufacturing firms. Responsible for the maintenance of Financial Consultant Order Entry (FCOE) application, assist in the development of system requirements, development of new tests and complete development of the Insight View/Modify Application.• Self-taught C#.NET to improve performance on Reorg Reports application which was behind schedule. Rewrote the VB6 application to utilize the .NET Frameworks threading capabilities which were needed to make the application meet customer performance levels.• Tasked and implemented all changes for the CAR project. This included changes to the application for Oracle database conversion, tuning of SQL’s for performance, infrastructure issues related to overall FCOE trades processing, recommendation of database schema changes to overcome obstacles and served as the Subject Mater Expert to other developers on changes required for other applications.• Responsible for all development efforts related to the Decimalization Project, which required extensive changes to the application. This involved making large changes to the com objects of the FCOE application.• Primary developer for the team that worked side by side with Java contractors to develop the thin client portion of our application used to integrate FCOE as part of the Trades Redesign Project. This required learning how to program Java with minimal outside instruction and training.• Developed the user interface of the thin client portion of our application using XSLT style sheets to transform XML documents generated by the JAVA application into HTML pages used by the FC’s to change and cancel orders on the new trading system.• Led the FCOE performance team with the responsibility for managing the development of a custom test application, creation of performance criteria and performance test procedure documents and the identification and tracking of all issues related to performance testing.
