Following on from my previous coordinators role, I moved over to the Mader Goldfields Division to grow a team that would be able to fill requests for ancillary support/services roles that were more often than not being turned down. Within 4 months Goldfields Ancillary Support team had grown to 40+ personnel and filled requests for On Highway HD mechanics, Auto Elecs, Boiler Makers and Light Vehicle tradesman. This role included supervising of other Mader personnel, coordination of freight company’s to collect and deliver all mining HME up to 2500 diggers, D10 dozers 730E trucks, 992k loaders and the permits for them to travel 200+kms north-east of Port Hedland. Sometimes also filling in as work shop supervisor when required as it remained an active mine site. As a side project - I arranged to have local waste collectors remove large amounts of waste hydrocarbons so we could leave the site in a better condition than we found it. Other roles while still a part of the F.S team included - •Fill in field service coordinator of the most efficient 60+ fieldservice mechanics in the industry. •Coordinating loader, wheel dozer and dozer shuts throughout the Pilbara region. •Temporary workshop supervisor in one of the largest iron ore mines in the Pilbara until the owner/miner hired their own into the position. •The removal of over 60 retired heavy earth moving machines from a mine in Newman. These machines were in poor condition after cycling through midlives, component change outs and finally being off hired at the top of an old waste dump after many many years of service. Some having sat for over 5 years. this included 996 & 994 face shovel and excavator, Atlas blast hole drills, 24 & 16H graders, D11 & D10 dozers, 793C & D trucks and other Ancillary equipment. All machines were successfully removed without incident and at an incredibly low cost. Show less
