As an HR executive with 20 years’ experience leading human capital and labor relations for the Amsted Industries family of companies, I build teams able to deliver programs that align with business goals. With a strong foundation working directly with front-line employees and line supervisors in plants across the world, I integrate our unique employee-owned culture into every program and initiative. In my role as VP of HR for Amsted Rail, I work closely with our executive leaders to craft strategies that translate into on-the-ground performance improvements and tangible cost-savings. Navigating the complexities of unionized work environments, I have worked hard to build respectful relationships with labor leaders and representatives. This, in turn, has enabled us to cultivate an environment that connects plant-level operations to our strategic goals and paves the way for an engaged, respectful workforce. Some highlights from my career include:▶ Lead HR strategy that reaches 10,000 employees across 28 locations in 8 countries (including complex ownership structures such as joint ventures and state-owned enterprises).▶ Integral to the development and success of a shared services model impacting Amsted Rail’s 4,500 North American employees.▶ Realized millions in cost-savings by streamlining insurance and retirement benefits.It has been a wonderful experience to grow along with Amsted Industries and I greatly enjoy developing my own teams for further professional development.
