Managed all aspects of a $1.3 million dollar retail operation. Effectively recruit, train, evaluate and motivate personnel in sales and customer service. Directed and supervise employees engaged in sales and customer service, inventory, and reconciling cash, check or credit card receipts. Delegated tasks and follow-up to ensure completion. Developed creative plans to increase production in store sales. Coordinated sales promotion activities and prepared merchandise displays. Responsible for all aspects of store operations to include; profit and loss prevention, facility management, product management which include ordering, receiving, price changes, damaged items and banking. Examined merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced, displayed and functions as advertised. Demonstrated professionalism when dealing with customers and/or associates at all times. Responded to inquiries, complaints and or general questions. Responsible for personnel actions which consist of initiating and or updating the appropriate form(s) when an employee is hired, terminated, receives a promotion, time and attendance, incentive awards, and wage increases. Prepared for senior management daily and quarterly reports on the overall statistics of the store. Conducted regular performances reviews and make recommendations for promotions, time off, incentive awards etc.
