Responsible for technical reviews of drawings, specifications, work plans and design reports prepared by EPC subcontractors on the Wheatstone LNG project in Australia. Assisted in similar reviews for 3 other LNG projects (APLNG, GLNG and QCLNG) in Australia, including travel to Australia to review design documents and expedite design work.

Houston, Texas Area

Principal Design Engineer, was responsible for engineering of six well head platflorms for Abu Dhabi Marine Areas Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) Umm Lulu Field. Coordinated engineering and design of modules for ExxonMobil Neftegas Limited, Sakhalin II, Odoptu project. Supervised a team of 4 engineers and 5 designers in engineering and design of structures for ADMA-OPCO IGD FEED, offshore Das Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Structures included a 7,500 tonne topsides to be installed by floatover, a bridge system consisting of two 84-meter long pipe bridges with two supporting towers, and two flare structures. Prepared FEED sketches, specifications and a material quantity estimate for marine terminal facilities associated with a crude oil trans-shipping terminal in northern Russia, for a confidential client. Spent two weeks in St. Petersburg, Russia for discussions with client and client’s engineering consultant.Supervised a team of structural engineers in design of a complex of 4 fixed platforms in Bohai Bay, China for ConocoPhillips. Supervised preliminary and detailed engineering of Cannonball, a four-pile well head platform for bpTT offshore Trinidad. Scope included training and mentoring one Trinidadian Structural Engineer.Performed final detailed design of two modules for Exxon-Mobil Kizomba "A" FPSO. Developed concept of adapting seismic isolators as flexible bearings for module supports, including preliminary vendor qualification and technical evaluation of bids.

Served as Site Engineer on BioEcology Superfund Site in Grand Prairie, TX. Monitored construction progress and ensured compliance with plans and specifications for excavation of hazardous wastes, construction of a lined containment cell and placement of the wastes in the cell.

Staff Engineer responsible for design and drafting for Panna “A”, an 800-ton production platform jacket for O.N.G.C. of India's Panna Field. Traveled to Bombay, India for a presentation of technical issues regarding the foundation conditions to O.N.G.C. engineers and the Japanese contractor. Traveled to Osaka, Japan to explain the pile design and other details to O.N.G.C. engineers at the Hitachi-Zosen fabrication yard.

Senior Project Engineer responsible for Houston-based construction support for the Waterfront Facilities Area of the U.S. Navy Facilities Expansion on the island of Diego Garcia, in the Indian Ocean. Supervised design of temporary structures for off-loading construction materials. Reviewed design drawings prepared by others for constructability, and supervised material take-offs and requisitioning of construction materials and permanent equipment. Traveled to Diego Garcia during the project.

Resident Engineer seconded to Honam Refinery Co. (A joint venture between Caltex and Lucky Construction Co of Korea). Oversaw the design and construction of a supertanker off-loading wharf, including 11 months in Korea.
