Responsible for locating and closing sites for Build for Rent projects, primarily in the major Texas markets. This includes site selection, entitlement, construction and leasing of multiple sites in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston area.

Responsible for locating and closing multifamily development sites in Texas markets. This includes planning and research, site selection, due diligence review and managing the entitlement, negotiation and contracting for potential new multifamily construction. This is part of the Falcone Group’s expansion plans in the Texas market. The firm is currently developing a $1 billion+ portfolio of new construction urban and suburban multifamily product across the country.

Lead investment strategy, acquisitions and development project management for multifamily, mixed-use, retail office and industrial assets. Gathered and analyzed market information for potential investments in office, hotels, industrial, apartment, and land speculation. Tasked with compiling and reconciliation of monthly budgets and operating statements. Supervise a group of 3-5 direct reports including Land Developers, Engineers Analysts and Title Companies in addition to external parties: consultants, civil engineers, legal counsel and architects.

Worked closely with the Chief Financial Officer of Temple Inland’s mortgage banking subsidiary, which originates $4 B+ annually and services $12B+ in loans. Responsible for overseeing the daily cash position of the mortgage company and reconciliation of corporate accounts as well as the compilation of annual budgets for Finance, Corporate and Executive departments. Organized and managed the state corporate licenses and mortgage lending licenses in 40 states.

Managed an $80 mm portfolio of diversified real estate loans including residential, commercial, office, retail and raw land projects. Drafted and reviewed project budgets and cash flows; negotiated and secured approval for loan restructuring packages. Supervised leasing and tenant finish on projects.
