Working with district attorneys from three counties across the U.S., Vera’s Prosecution and Racial Jusustice program is helping to evaluate and reduce the impact of race on prosecutorial decision making. By developing pilot data systems to measure the influence of race in key decisions during the prosecutorial process and developing management protocols to help prosecutors to resolve any disparities these systems may uncover, PRJ is building public and administrative confidence in criminal justice and enhancing the integrity of judicial outcomes.

Duties included supervision of senior and junior prosecutors; conducted high profile and serious offences including homicides, rape and sexual assualts and kidnapping; conducted high level drug and white collar investigations, including wiretaps and financial investigations; supervised search warrants requests; participated in office-wide and national training of prosecutors; involved in extensive community outreach and support.Past President of the National Black Prosecutors Association.
