Westlake Chemical acquired Axiall Corp in 2016. Axiall Corp was a newly formed company built via the merger of PPG Industries-Chemicals Division and Georgia Gulf. My position includes responsibilities for all facets of Infrastructure Services throughout the company with primary responsibilities at the Lake Charles South site.

Westlake, La. Site

My position included responsibilities for all facets of Infrastructure Services at the Westlake site and extending to several other divisional sites with connectivity to Westlake.

My duties included primary site support network specialist at PPG Industries Westlake site along with backup network nad lab instrumentation site support for other customers as well as Honeywell TDC printer repair in shop.

Beaumont Texas

My duties included installation, troubleshooting, and repair of all systems to component-level. Systems included stand-alone or Networked “in-house” and customer-owned equipment by HP, IBM, Epson, Compaq..etc...; Duties also included Shop management & coordination of 4 Technicians daily work activities.

Houston, Texas Area

My duties included installation, troubleshooting, and repair of microprocessor-based computer systems and electro-mechanical peripherals to component level. Duties also included ordering, shipping/receiving, and inventory control of systems, components and replacement parts.

Fort Worth, Texas

My duties included inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of microprocessor-based circuit boards to component level.

Beaumont, Texas

My duties included supervising all ordering, receiving, arranging, and inventory-control of merchandise as well as assisting in other departments. I was layed-off due to store closing in 1985.

Houston, Texas Area

I was employed on the “weekend crew**” working in the “Bipolar-5” area assigned to the “Photolithography Section” (DSW). My duties included A&E, Coat & Develop, Photomask selection/cleaning, and Microscopic Inspection of Semiconductor circuitry. I have a thorough knowledge of clean-room procedures and process-flow in Semiconductor manufacturing. I left TI due to impending plant-wide layoffs and returned to previous full-time position at Gibsons while continuing my pursuit of BSIT degree at Lamar U.
