Wayne has 25 years experience in the water industry, here in South East Queensland and in the UK. He has held senior management and executive leadeship roles in design, construction, program management, business leadership, strategic planning and implementation and organisation change. Wayne completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course in 2010 and has spent the last five years as the CEO of Geoimage Pty Ltd, a Brisbane based SME focussed on providing satellite imagery and professional technical services. In this role, Wayne implemented a new strategic direction, focussed the business on core values and strong culture, developed new service lines, and recruited and developed a new senior management team. As CEO of a SME a strong understanding of human resource management is essential, whether it be recruiting, employment conditions, career development, retention, downsizing or restructuring.Wayne managed the sale of the Geoimage business, leading all negotiations, due-diligence and contracts on behalf of the Board.
