Wayne was appointed Chief Investment Officer, taking the overall responsibility of Pengxin Group's overseas M&A and Financing, report directly to Group Chairman. Wayne also sat on the board of Fiagril Ltda and Belagricola, two leading Agricultural services companies in Brazil with turnover of more than USD2.2bio.

PENGXIN is an integrated conglomerate based in Shanghai with total assets more than 100bio RMB; it focuses on agriculture, resources, property and renewable energy. It has controlling stake in 4 public listed company. It has acquired significant mining assets in Africa and Australia; agricultural assets in New Zealand and South America. Wayne joined the Group in April 2016, as the Chairman’s special representative, leading the group’s international Merger and Acquisition.

Wayne Mo is Executive Director, Resources Energy and Infrastructures Group, and Head of China Desk, Institutional Australia. He has national responsibility of the banks' relationship with Chinese companies investing in Australia, with a focus on Natural Resources industry. He has significant recent experience on working with Chinese banks financing Natural Resources and infrastructure projects in Australia and Asia. Wayne has 21 years experience in banking industry in China, Australia, Singapore and other Asian countries. Wayne joined ANZ Natural Resources team as a Director in Oct 2008, and assumed his current role with expanded responsibility in July 2011. Before that, Wayne had held various senior positions in ANZ Asia, including General Manager of ANZ Beijing (2005-2008), Head of Manufacturing Industry Asia (2004-2005), Deputy General Manager ANZ Shanghai and Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking China (2003-2004). Before joining ANZ, Wayne had worked in Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi for 6 years. Wayne holds a MBA from Webster University, USA and Bachelor of Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He was a member of the Executive Committee of Australia China Business Council (ACBC) (2014-2017) and previously sat on the board of Australia China Chamber of Commerce (AUSTCHAM) (2006 -2008). Wayne was regular guest speaker of various industry forums in both Australia and China. He was also guest speaker to Melbourne University Alumni, MBA students from Macquarie university, NSW University, and National University of Singapore.
